For those of you for whom glamping sounds daunting, fear not, we’ve got you covered!
Each of our unique stays has been carefully created to give you ultimate comfort within a tranquil, peaceful setting. Considered interiors reflect the stillness of the surrounding countryside, creating a calm, restorative ambiance.
Indoor heated showers, baths and composting loos are just a short stroll away, log burners, warm blankets for crisp nights around the firepit, hot water for tea and coffee, cool boxes to keep your wine cold not to mention pizza ovens and outdoor cinemas are just a few of the luxuries on offer at Wold of you own.
Guests receive complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk. Bedding and towels and toiletries are all provided for our guests.
Access to the site is along farm tracks which are bumpy and can get muddy during wet weather or dusty when its dry. We therefore recommend that you leave your sportscar at home!

We love dogs and are pet friendly providing everything you need just in case you forget.
Children are welcome at Wold of you own but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We are a working farm so farm machinery will be passing by during busy times and due to the lack of barriers around our water’s edge, we feel for safety children must be kept in sight at all times.
We recycle plastic, glass and cans all together, cardboard and general waste go in there own bins, all provided and clearly marked. Please rinse out your containers.
Our sites are entirely off-grid, with all electricity provided by solar power. Please be as green as possible with your energy use, as once the batteries are depleted, you will have to wait until the sun shines for them to recharge!
Our sites are off-grid so the tap water is not for drinking. Drinking water is provided in the fridge and drinking water container.
Feel free to explore the beautiful walks on the farm. You’ll find a map with designated walks and nature trails in your guest folder. Please remember that this is a working farm so be aware of natural hazards, farm machinery and livestock when walking.
We suggest you admire them from your side of the fence and not theirs.
You are likely to see several types of deer on the farm including Roe and Muntjac – the barking deer. They are wild and roam freely. If you are lucky enough to be here during the rutting season (late September to early November) you may well hear their prehistoric sounding roar!
There is lots of wildlife around our sites. You can find guides in all our accomidation.
There are several lakes around our sites. We do not fence them as they are a natural habitat. For your safety and that of the wildlife please admire from a distance and strictly NO SWIMMING.
We provide an initial, complimentary supply of wood, kindling and firelighters to get you started. Additional fire wood, kindling, firelighters and sacks of charcoal are available to purchase on site. You can pay with cash or online.
We provide a selection of board games and books along with a small selection of outdoor games. If you are playing ball games please stay within the mown grass area and be considerate to the wildlife and your surroundings.
We can provide Glamper Hampers for you to enjoy during your stay. Please give at least 1 weeks notice to organise these. We aim to source all our ingredients locally where possible.

Our loos are all seperating compost toilets, however can only take paper and human waste. Please dispose of anything else in the bins provided.
Your accommodation, the loos and showers are all non-smoking areas. Please dispose of any cigarette butts in the bins to protect the wildlife and mimise wild fires.
We have it but we encourage you to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty that nature has to offer.

A: Glamping is a combination of ‘glamourous’ and ‘camping’. As the name suggests, it blends the fun and excitement of camping in the great outdoors with the luxury of a hotel or cottage stay.
A: The main difference between camping and glamping is the facilities available. Camping may mean pitching your own tent, cooking outside and sharing a bathroom block. Meanwhile, many glamping sites have facilities such as real beds, running water, cooking facilities and heating and private bathrooms to make your stay comfortable.
Part of what makes glamping popular is that a lot of the necessities are already provided for you. This means you don’t need to pack bedding, cooking equipment, etc. For a list of what you do need, make sure to read our what’s provided information.
A: Please see Terms & Conditions for details of this.
A: The price you see is the price you pay, there are no hidden costs. This price includes all bed linen (pillow covers, duvet covers and bed sheets), bath towels, hand and tea towels and beds made up on arrival. Also included is a firepit which doubles up as a BBQ, plus wood for the duration of your stay. Wood can be used on the outdoor firepit/BBQ or used on the log burner which is your heat source and one of your cooking sources.
A: Simply, our main rules are:
~ no smoking of anything, including e-cigarettes, within the accommodation
~ no parties | events
~ no extra guests allowed onsite unless previously agreed by and arranged with us
~ no photo shoots
~ children must be supervised at all times
~ dogs must be kept on leads
~ please ensure you leave all gates as you find them
~ please respect the wildlife and birds which live share our farm
A: Yes but we do ask guests to not allow dogs on the furniture or bedding. Please ensure they are under control and on a lead at all times – you are in a livestock area and farmers will not be happy if their stock is disturbed.
A: Wold of your own’s standard check-in time is from 16:00 p.m. until 20:00 p.m.
The check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
If you wish to amend these times you must arrange this with us in advance of your stay and be amenable to the resulting surcharge. We reserve the right to make a surcharge for a departure which is later than ten minutes from the agreed checkout time, as this adversely impacts the quality of our preparations for the next incoming guest.
A: Yes, all our stays are solar powered and have electrical connection and sockets.
A: No as an off-grid destination we are NOT connected to the mains water supply. Fresh drinking water is supplied.
A: Yes, but we encourage you to fully immerse yourself in our beautiful surroundings by switching off from digital connections.
A: Yes, but all our stays are set away from the road and we keep there exact location secret. Once you have made a booking with us which is fully paid, we will forward you a welcome document that includes full details of your site and instructions on how to find us.
A: A dry composting toilet, is a waterless toilet system that separates the excreta. With the aid of a separating insert or separator, liquid is separated from solid waste and collected in a separate container. Urine is fed into a container at the front, while faeces and toilet paper end up in a solids container in the rear area, where they are covered with litter after each toilet visit. This removes liquids from solid matter and at the same time prevents formation of unpleasant odours. We then compost the faeces and store the urine for a time until they can be used as compost and fertiliser.
A: No, not without prior consent from us in advance of your stay and you must be amenable to the resulting surcharge.
A: A fridge and small ice box is provided inside the accomidation
